One half of Eurythmics… Dave Stewart announced that Annie Lennox will now longer tour.
The news came as he was announcing a tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their 1983 breakthrough album, Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).
He posted that he totally understands her decision and wrote: “But I love our songs and I love playing live. So I have selected brilliant, all female musicians and three wonderful female vocalists. I promise a stunning show full of memorable songs.”
So far, only one concert has been revealed, that one is in Switzerland on November 7.
Eurythmics were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last November.
