Amid mounting accusations of sexual assault allegations levelled against Sean “Diddy” Combs, another city proclamation given to the music mogul has been rescinded. Miami Beach’s yearly Diddy Day on October 13 has officially been rescinded by the Miami Beach Commission. Diddy Day was originally dedicated by Mayor Philip Levine at the REVOLT conference in 2016 as a way of honoring the Bad Boy rapper and producer. The decision to rescind the Diddy Day recognition was made by the commission on Wednesday, June 26, taking place “without discussion,” according to reports. Combs has long been a fixture of the Miami Beach Star Island community where he currently owns a mansion. That same Miami residence was recently raided by federal agents back in March, along with Combs’ estate in Los Angeles. (Billboard)
