Adolescence has become Netflix’s second-most-watched English-language series, surpassing Season 4 of Stranger Things with 141.2 million views in its first 80 days. It trails only Wednesday (252.1 million) and the non-English Squid Game (265.2 million) in Netflix’s all-time popularity rankings. (Variety)


Lizzo is appealing a judge’s decision to allow a sexual harassment lawsuit against her to move forward, arguing the case is an attack on her First Amendment rights. Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune will start streaming new episodes on Hulu, Peacock, and Disney+ starting this September, in a multi-year deal announced by Sony Pictures Television. This marks the first time in-season syndicated episodes of the shows will be available on national streamers, along with library content. (EW)


Tom Girardi, 86, (the estranged husband of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne) was sentenced to 7 years in prison for wire fraud and ordered to pay $2 million in restitution to victims after being found guilty of embezzling more than $15 million from clients. Ellen Pompeo was detained at an airport due to suspicions over a bag of organic sunflower seeds from Erewhon. The TSA held her for an hour and called in the bomb squad, despite her offers to throw the seeds away. Pompeo was shocked by the drastic reaction over what she saw as an innocent snack, almost missing her flight as a result. (EW)


MrBeast claims he has “very little money,” despite being a billionaire, and is borrowing from his mom to pay for his upcoming wedding to his fiancée Thea Booysen.
