NBC will air an encore of Wicked: One Wonderful Night on New Year’s Eve at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The two-hour special features stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande with Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, and Marissa Bode. The broadcast will be followed by local news and A Toast to 2026!, a two-hour retrospective that replaces Snoop Dogg’s canceled special. (Story URL)


Sienna Miller has announced she is expecting a second child with her partner, actor Oli Green. The 43-year-old actress revealed her pregnancy at the British Fashion Awards on December 1st. Miller and Green welcomed their first child, a daughter, in January 2024. She told Harper’s Bazaar in June that their 14-year age gap has strengthened their relationship. (Story URL)


Arthur Miller’s Death Of A Salesman returns to Broadway next spring, starring Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf. The revival begins previews March 6th at the Winter Garden Theatre and officially opens April 9th for a 14-week run. Lane plays Willy Loman, with Metcalf as his wife, Linda. Christopher Abbott joins as Biff Loman, and Ben Ahlers plays Happy Loman. (Story URL)


Paramount has scheduled two major franchise releases for 2028. An untitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie will open on November 17, 2028, followed by an untitled Sonic Universe Event Film on December 22, 2028. The TMNT project will blend live action and CG animation, marking the first live-action version since 2016’s Out of the Shadows. (Story URL)

The two attended the Knicks game against the Milwaukee Bucks when the Jumbotron spotlighted them courtside. More than 25 years after The Matrix debuted, Lilly Wachowski reflected on how the “red pill” symbol became linked to right-wing ideology. “You have to let go of your work.
