Singer-songwriter Noah Kahan is celebrating his first nomination for the 2026 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, and his reaction has plenty of humor.
Following the announcement, Kahan shared a playful message on X on October 8, reflecting on his decade-long music career. He joked that years of hard work, countless flights, and time spent in recording studios had finally brought him closer to one major achievement: getting covered in Nickelodeon’s famous green slime.
Kahan is nominated for Favorite Male Breakout Artist/Group alongside BigXthaPlug, Don Toliver, Role Model, Sombr, and Temper City.
The nomination comes during a successful period for the Vermont-born musician, whose 2022 album Stick Season helped introduce his folk-pop sound to a wider audience.
His more recent single, The Great Divide, also made an impact on the charts, reaching No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The 2026 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards are scheduled for November 14. The annual ceremony celebrates achievements across music, television, film, and entertainment, with winners selected through fan voting.
