Noel Gallagher brought his familiar dry humor to a new episode of Chicken Shop Date, discussing everything from vegetarianism to his friendship with Paul McCartney.

During the October 23 appearance with host Amelia Dimoldenberg, the Oasis guitarist made his feelings about vegetarians and vegans clear. When asked about chicken nuggets, Gallagher expressed his enthusiasm before jokingly dismissing people who avoid meat.

The conversation soon turned to McCartney, whom Gallagher praised for his personality and ability to make others feel good about themselves. He also revealed that the former Beatle calls him Nolo.

Gallagher reflected on Oasis’ reunion, explaining that rehearsals quickly reassured him the band could perform as well as it had in the past.

He also admitted that he still doesn’t fully understand certain lyrics in the Oasis classic Champagne Supernova.

In another lighthearted exchange, Gallagher dismissed rumors that he performs without underwear, joking that he actually wears two pairs.

The interview is part of the final season of Chicken Shop Date, which is ending after 12 years.
