Charlie Puth has released a new song called Home, a track shaped by a deeply personal chapter in his life. The release arrives ahead of his upcoming album Whatever’s Clever! and adds a more intimate layer to the project.

In announcing the song, Puth explained that it was inspired by his wife, Brooke Puth, and the sense of peace she brought into his life. He said she helped him understand the feeling of having a true home, giving the song its emotional center.

Home also includes a contribution from Hikaru Utada, who wrote and performed Japanese lyrics for the track. That addition gives the song a broader emotional texture while keeping its focus on closeness and connection.

The release comes as Puth and his wife are expecting their first child, adding more context to the song’s theme of family and belonging. His new album is set to arrive on March 27 and will include several other guest appearances, making Home an early look at one of its most personal moments.
