Rihanna has given fans a playful update about her unreleased music collection, suggesting she has at least 170 songs stored away.
During a Fenty Beauty TikTok livestream on October 7, the singer answered a fan’s question about how much unreleased music she has. She compared her collection to the brand’s Gloss Bomb Vault, explaining that if each vault contains 10 products, she has enough music to fill at least 17 vaults.
The comparison suggests a collection of at least 170 unreleased tracks, although Rihanna did not provide an exact song count.
The revelation comes as fans continue waiting for her ninth studio album, widely known as R9.
Her last full-length album, ANTI, arrived in January 2016 and featured songs including Work, Needed Me, and Love on the Brain. Since then, Rihanna has focused on her beauty and fashion businesses while occasionally releasing new music.
In August, her partner A$AP Rocky also indicated that Rihanna had been spending time in the recording studio.
Despite the substantial collection, Rihanna has not announced a release date for her next album.
